Hi,
A blog can be thought of as an online diary where a person writes
thoughts and narrative. There are a number of them out there,
including WordPress and Blogger. In this context, the much
talked about Twitter can be considered a blog service, in that
even though the length is limited, you can write down your
thoughts.

Hi,
The best one I've seen would be Blogger - you just need your
Google username (and activation page) to get started with it.
There is a handy option under Blogger to send blog posts as an
email message.
