My apologies if this question seems too obvious, but I wanted
to be sure that you'd checked for the record in keylist. I just
tested the "add sender" option; I was not asked to confirm that I
wanted to save the record, but it did appear in my address list.

Ok. When I ad a new address from the keylist menu it asks me if

want to save it when I exit keylist. When I use the sender to
address list option in the keymail menu it does not ask me if I
want to save it when I go to exit. So the fields are filled in
but when I exit, The whole record goes missing. What am I doing
wrong?

It lets you add the sender of the email to your keylist database.
It
will open a new record, filling in as much of the information as
it
can. You then check that it is correct in what it put where,
editing
as necessary, then save the record.
