Hi all, I'm running a PC here with Windows 7 and Windows Mobile Device
Center, and am trying to work out the best routine to sync files and
folders between it and my BrailleNote Apex.

Traditionally, I've always placed important files onto SD cards, in a
briefcase. Then I can quickly open the Briefcase on my computer,
choose to update all files, unplug the card, stick it into my Apex,
and I'm all set. However, a far more elegant solution, especially
since the BrailleNote has a considerable chunk of memory now for text,
would be to drop files into a folder on my PC and have Windows Mobile
Device Center automatically sync up those files and folders whenever
the Apex is connected.

Unfortunately, it wants to sync items to a folder called "Synchronized
Files," which is located on the BrailleNote's system disk--that part
of the BrailleNote on which Windows and system files are stored. As
you may know, Humanware has made the choice to hide that drive from
users with the release of the Apex. I can get to the folder by going
into directory mode at any file prompt and typing "../synchronized
files" [two dots followed by a slash is a standard convention to move
up one level in a tree on servers]. The folder does open, but no files
are displayed in it. Humanware has done a pretty good job of hiding
the contents of the system disk away from users, which I suppose could
minimize confusion in certain situations, but which is also a little
bit disappointing.

Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks,

Grant
