Users should also be aware of the sleep facility which will conserve
their battery life. This may be a useful alternative if they have a day
or two where the Apex won't be used.
Go to Utilities, Miscellaneous, and space twice, at which point you can
answer yes to the prompt: 'do you wish to put your unit in deep sleep
mode?'
To wake from deep sleep, simply power the device on again.
Cheers

Hi,
You can't charge it through the USB. I wish that was the case
though, since my adapter broke once and I had to use another one
while I was waiting on my new one. It would be handy to charge
it if you don't want to carry your adapter around when
travelling. Also, with the battery lasting for 10 to 12 hours,
it's good to top it up during the day, so if you have unexpected
demands, when you can't be home in time to charge it, you have
got an alternative supply of power.

Hi. I heard that the braille sense u2. Not sure if I wrote that
properly. Anyhow, I heard that it can charge itself off of a
usb
power source. I mean charge the battery in the u2 and not an
iPhone or something plugged in to the u2. Can the apex do the
same? If it can then would I use the small usb port on the side
or one of the big 3 ports on the back? Or could I use either one?
Thanks.
