Do you charge it right up to full (or at least over say about 95%)? Because the readings will be a bit misleading (too high to begin with) if you only charge it partially, my phone's battery is the same. Yeah, I guess recalibrating would make it guess the capacity more accurately, but there again if you only charge it like half way a few days after recalibration I'd say the readings will still go down fast.

Otherwise ... Wireless being on all the time probably makes the battery go down faster (even with the power saving mode), I could be wrong about that but I think it would. But just using a large file shouldn't have any particularly bad effect on battery I wouldn't have thought.

Does anyone know if losing your battery charge pretty quickly is normal or not? I work with a big file and am doing a lot of word replacements. The Apex may go down from 41% to 4% real fast.
If this is not normal, would recalibrating work?
