Hi,
It would be best to do this via File Browser (Directory) under File Manager: when you see "directory" prompt, type slash (3-4) then press ENTCHER. You'll enter root folder of the last dayrive you accessed.
Chebers,

No. I tried that and it did not work. It still wants to give me
directories.

You will have to press space with t once at the "directory name?"
prompt. Then pick a folder, open a file, close it, go back in to
keyword, and it'll probably offer you folders again.

No. What I mean is that I am stuck in directory mode. Pressing
space only moves me through the sub directories of the one
directory that is selected. I want the bn to just give me the
first level of folders when I go to look for a file. I don't
want
it to give me the sub directories. I don't want to have to press
space with t every time I want a folder instead of a sub
directory. My bn used to just give me folders by default and now
I can't make it do it. I hope that cleared things up.

Hi Jessica,

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but maybe you are referring
to the way that when you press space with t to access folders
(rather than directories) the BN offers you the last directory
you were in even when it's not a parent directory? Ignore that,
press space and you should see the list of folders/root
directories.

Subject: [Braillenote] stuck in directory mode

Hi. Usually I just use one level of folders so I stay in folder
mode. But sometimes I use directories. A few days ago I made a
sub directory by pressing space with t. After the sub directory
was created, I went to file manager and pressed space with t to
get to folder mode so I could find a file that was in the first
level of folders. However, It won't stay in folder mode. Every
time I go to look for a file it takes me to the sub directory I
made. I tried putting it in folder mode and pressing reset.
That
did not work. How do I make it stay in folder mode so I don't
have to press space with t every time I want a file that is only
in the first level of folders? Thank you for any help with this.
