No. That's not what I get. What I get are sub directories no matter if the last file I accessed was in the first level or lower down. it does not matter where the last file is located. I always get directory mode.

Hi Jessica, the BrailleNote should offer folder mode if the last
file you accessed was in the highest level of folders, but
directory mode if the last file you accessed was in a lower level
of folders within a hierarchy of folders and subfolders.  The
modes will change automatically and accordingly.  You should not
need to change anything manually and in fact nothing you change
manually should stick.  The behaviour should be just as I
described.
