Oh, I did not think of that. The problem will be having access to the
internet. I was thinking only of using the key mail app so kids could write
their messages at school and once they got home, they could send/receive.

I use Outlook on the PC and my students will not have access to it at home.
I am struggling to figure this one out. I am almost leaning towards
teaching them to use web based email because we have internet access on the
PC. But I don't know how to effectively use it with Firefox or IE yet.

Any thoughts?

Keith

Hi Keith,

Let me clarify what Jasmine is asking. To use Gmail on the BrailleNote,
there are 2 options: (1) Keymail, which is the email client which is built
into the BrailleNote, and (2) using the Gmail Web interface, AKA the Gmail
Web site, to access your email using Keyweb, the BrailleNote's Web browser.
Which one would you like to teach your students to use?

Hi,

I need to teach some students how to use gmail and it could be on the
Braille Note or on the PC.

Thanks,

Keith

Hi,
So, you want to teach the students
how to use Keymail on the BrailleNote? If so, maybe I can help you there.
Or were you just wanting them to use the Gmail site?

Hi,

I am interested in teaching my students how to use a Braille Note or Firefox
to send and receive email with a gmail account. If there are any
step-by-step instructions or pod casts on how to do this, that would be
great.

Thank you,

Keith
