Yeah, you could just put dg after the number, but I'd probably use the unicode character. Switch to computer braille and go into unicode tables (backspace with 3,5) type the first few letters of degrees, press enter, if not displayed press space with n till it is; then enter to insert it in the file. If you're going to use it a lot, you can assign a key combination to it (space with k while on the character in the tables).
