Hi,
Yes, provided that you copy the files on Flash Disk. For easier transfer of settings:
1. Have an external device such as an SD card handy.
2. Backup the loaner Apex's Flash Disk (all files and folders) to the external device so you can restore the loaner's settings and files once you get your Apex back. 3. Backup your own Apex's Flash Disk (the one to be sent in) to the external device where the settings from the loaner is backed up (use different folder from the one you've used to backup the loaner one). 4. On the loaner Apex, insert the external device and restore the backup from your Apex to 'the loaner. When it is done, your loaner Apex will have identical settings as yours (provided both devices have same KeySoft versions).
To reverse the process later:
1. Backup the loaner settings to an external device.
2. Restore loaner's old settings.
3. Insert the external device to the returned Apex and restore loaner's newer settings (that is, the data you've worked with on the loaner while your Apex was gone).
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] apex question

Hi List,

My vision teacher is going to send in my Apex to get the braille
display fixed. She has a spare Apex that she's going to let me
use while my Apex is being repared. I have a question. When I
reccfigure all the setting (email, chat, internet, etc.), will I
have everything back like it was before I gave my vision teacher
my Apex? Like will all my emails that are in my inbox now be
there when I reconfigure the email settings? Will all my chat
contacts still be there when I reconfigure my chat settings? and
etc.

Thanks,

Winona
