Hi,
The VoiceNote is essentially a BrailleNote without the display, so all functions supported by BrailleNote (minus braille display func;inns) are there, including chat client (for Google Talk), DAISY reader, database manager, interactive fiction interpreter and others.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] basic questions

Hi;
I too am very new to this list. surprised to see Tom beller. I guess we are following each other. Wonder if anyone here is using the voice sense? For my particular needs I really don't need braille with the note taker. Considered buying it just for the display and using it as a terminal but It looks like I can get a separate display for my pc and a
separate voice sense for a bit less.
Will this allow me to use a blue tooth headset? Also, other than email, internet, and word processing what other functions does it support? Does it have any accessible chat programs? Disappointed there is no pod
catcher. I was using a braille plus from aph prior to it being
discontinued and it was nice to simply put in the feed and not have to
go on the great hunt whenever I want the latest podcast from a
particular source.
For no good reason I generally listen to meet the press on a Sunday afternoon. Finding their podcast on NBC is for me a real pain on a PC
and probably impossible on many note takers.
