Hi, I have never heard this about the PK battery. I have left my braillenote
for over a month once with no problems. If I know I'm not going to be using
it for some time I turn it off using C1, C4 which turns it completely off so
it doesn't use battery power. Then when you want to use it again you press
C1, C4 and turn it back on and it will go through loading keysoft again.
This is probably the same as deep sleep mode on either a MPower or Apex so
after you have put it into this sleep mode it takes longer to start up again
to if you have just switched it off.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [Braillenote] apex battery

| Hi all!
|
| I'm not pretending to be a battery expert or anything, but I
| think that if you leave the braillenote pk battery flat for a
| long period of time the cells will lock and the battery will
| become useless. Is this the case with the braillenote apex
| battery? If so, how long will it take for the battery to become
| useless?
|
| Cheers!
