I did it and it was not usable after couple of months. In my experience Apex
battery is more sensitive and inferior to MPower battery. I have two
unusable batteries in one and a half years, with Mpower I never had to
change the battery in couple years I used it.

This is a good theory. However I have placed my apex into deep sleep mode
before with a full battery and it is empty a week later. If I know I'm not
likely to use the apex for more than about a week, I will remove the
battery
entirely.
