If you get any suggestions, please pass them on to me, as my g-mail isn't connecting either, however, I think it's a fault of the internet connection. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lucy Sirianni" <[email protected]>

Subject: [Braillenote] Gmail

Hi all,

I am still unable to access Gmail. My BrailleNote displays the message, "Google: please wait", which refreshes automatically every two seconds or so, and it never takes me to the actual website. I had someone log into my account from a PC and it worked fine.

My internet seems a bit strange generally lately; my Facebook, for instance, now makes me sign in every time I use it, and when I log out, it still displays my homepage (with the newsfeed, etc) until I exit the site and re-type the address. This isn't a problem in and of itself; I just mention it in case it sheds any light on what is going on with my Gmail, which I really need to resolve ASAP.

Two nights ago, I inadvertently left the BrailleNote on before going to bed; it was plugged in, but my adapter seems to be wearing down and is a bit intermittent these days. I woke up in the middle of the night to the BrailleNote's reset sound and then a long series of strange, high-pitched beeps that sounded a bit like the alarm. I don't know whether this might have caused the problem?

I hope that all of this is clear -- thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Best,

Lucy
