Hi. I got a new sdhc card for my bn. I have some questions. If I
go to the main menu and make sure no files are open before I
press reset, Will I lose data on the sd card if I leave it
plugged in to the bn, or should I remove the card every time I
reset? Does leaving the card plugged in all the time even when it
is not being used take battery power? Will leaving the card
plugged in to the bn damage it over time? I do have the bn turned
on quite a lot. Is the card on when the bn is on or only when
data is going to or from the card? Is it possible for me to make
my system files like the dictionaries and keymail and other
system folders operate on the sd card instead of the flash disk
and use the sd card for everything and don't use the flash disk
for anything? The reason that I want to do this is that so if my
bn ever has to be sent in for repair, I won't have to back up all
my files because they will be on the sd card which I can just
take out of the bn before it gets sent in. Also, if I am forced
to do a flash disk reformat and am not able to back up my files
first, I won't lose them because they will be on the sd card not
the flash disk. I don't want to lose my emails and address list
and stuff. Thank you.
