Hw has always recommended that you remove all storage cards when
resetting. I usually don't, and have never lost anything, so it's up
to you. Still, better safe than sorry, as they say; if you can, remove
it, but I doubt you'll lose anything.

I don't know, but I don't think so. If it does, it will not be much
power. Still, someone else on the list may have a definite answer.

It shouldn't, no. In fact, I can't see how it could, though the spring
in your sd slot may get weaker. Still, I left a card in my mPower all
the time and never had the spring get weak enough for me to notice, so
(assuming the apex is built the same way) I wouldn't worry about it.

I wish, but no. You can back things up, but you can't run keymail and
keylist from an external card. Well, you can run keylist (copy over
your address list, then go to keylist's setup options, hit s to select
the keylist file, and point the bn to the copy on the card). You can't
do this with keymail or any other databases, like the connection
configurations or email accounts.
