Hi:

Here are the more indepth instructions:

1. From the file menu in JAWS move down to Braille.
2. enter on this tab.
3. Tab until you find: "Add Braille Display."
4. In the dialog box that is now showing choose your Braille Display. In
this case BRAILLENOTE.
5. Check the checkbox that says "signed."
6 there will probably be only 1com port available, so choose that comm port.
