Here are the more indepth instructions:
1. From the file menu in JAWS move down to Braille. 2. enter on this tab. 3. Tab until you find: "Add Braille Display." 4. In the dialog box that is now showing choose your Braille Display. In this case BRAILLENOTE. 5. Check the checkbox that says "signed." 6 there will probably be only 1com port available, so choose that comm port.

You install the BN APEX, just like you would any other Braille display. Look in Braille in the main menu under File, and you will find braille options for adding a Braille Display.
Remember, you need to download the driver from the HW site.
