Hello:

This is a few days late, so you may have already received an answer.

I have always found that scanning for wifi corrections in the connections menu finds both secure and non-secure wifi broadcasts.

ARE there any choices when you scan?

Good luck.

Subject: [Braillenote] setting up wireless connection

My wireless connection from home is not working with my BrailleNote Apex. I looked through the user manual to find out how to set it up from scratch, since it says if a wireless connection is secure, the BN will not see it when scanning. How do I find out the parameters of my Wireless connection. I know the key or password I have to enter. I know the name of my wireless network. I would like to set up email and the Internet from my Apex, since my laptop is out of commission temporarily. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Is there any way I can get it to scan for the network connection automatically?
