Hi. I am currently needing to set up a wifi wireless connection.
I am attempting to perande my Mpower to find the wireless
connection settings to transfer on to the Braillesense. When I
set up the profile on the Braillesense, it automatically shows up
the ssid number and I have typed in the password. The Brsense
says: "Failed to connect". Why is it that that the Internet
works perfectly with the Mpower and not with the
Braillesense? There must be some setting from the mpower wireless
configureation that I have missed that I need to transfer? I am
currently doing research about the Apex and the Braillesense. As
customers, we need to work out what prduct suits us best. I am
not here to criticise either notetaker. I am merely at my wits'
end to work out why the wireless settings from the mpower don't
work on the Braillesense. One should be able to use and transfer
those settings on to another motetaker if need be and even use
both notetakers if one wishes. Help would be greatly appreciated
and valued.
Regards, Marisa

Hello:
This is a few days late, so you may have already received an
answer.
I have always found that scanning for wifi corrections in the
connections menu finds both secure and non-secure wifi
broadcasts.
ARE there any choices when you scan?
Good luck.

Subject: [Braillenote] setting up wireless connection
My wireless connection from home is not working with my
BrailleNote Apex. I looked through the user manual to find out
how to set it up from scratch, since it says if a wireless
connection is secure, the BN will not see it when scanning. How
do I find out the parameters of my Wireless connection. I know
the key or password I have to enter. I know the name of my
wireless network. I would like to set up email and the Internet
from my Apex, since my laptop is out of commission temporarily.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Is there any way I can get
it to scan for the network connection automatically?
