I would just add that, like on the iPhone, you have only a short time in which 
to enter that pin, so be ready for it and type fast, then hit enter (the pair 
button is default, so enter will press it). Also, once you get this working, 
the process will not need to be repeated. To pair in the future, simply enter 
terminal mode while the mac is on and the two will pair within a minute, 
usually only a few seconds. You will also want to assign commands to customize 
how the braille keyboard controls the mac, which you can do from the same 
displays area of the vo utility which you used to pair the apex initially. 
Simply select the apex from the table (once you have successfully paired it) 
and choose the "assign commands" button.
