Hi Jessica,
I don't really have a good idea of what is happening to your
Apex, but I think you are working almost too hard at fixing it. I
don't think it has anything to do with power, the battery or a
lot of resets. One of the things I think you should check is how
strong is your wifi signal. Perhaps it isn't strong enough to
maintain the connection. I am not sure why this would suddenly
happen. Maybe you could try to restart the router. The only
puzzle I have with my thoughts is why when you are wired you are
having problems. But at least you could give all of this a try
until some of our experts see your quandary.
I hope for your sake this is not a problem with Apex circuitry.
Good Luck!
Debby

I have had it for about 10 months. It came with keysoft 9.1 and I
have not updated it because of the bug in keysoft 9.2.

Have you updated your key soft version resently? How long have
you had your apex? How long have you had your Apex without an key
soft update? If you have had your apex for three years or more. I
think by now you should be getting a new one because they only
last 2 to 4 years. Then you have to get a new one.

I have an Apex bt 32 running keysoft 9.1. some strange things
are happening with it. I will explain the trouble shooting I
have tried and then I will explain my problems. I have tried
rebuilding the dictionaries and keymail folders, by rebuild I
mean delete them and then do a flash disk basic files restore in
the support information mode, and a flash disk reformat in the
support information mode, a soft reset, a hard reset, a 4-5-6
reset, a 1-2-3 reset and I also tried removing the battery and
leaving the ac adapter off all night. Before I removed the
battery, I put the Apex in deep sleep mode. None of this has
fixed any problems. Now, the problems I am having. 1. The apex
will only stay paired with my iPhone 4s for about 10 seconds and
then drop the connection. It used to work fine and I did not
change any settings on the Apex or iPhone. However, I did try
powering the iPhone down and leaving it off for 30 minutes. That
did not make it stay paired. 2. I will be browsing the web with
keyweb and it will be working fine and then with out any warning,
it will drop the connection and say the page can not be
displayed. When this happens, I turn off wireless internet, do a
reset, and then turn wireless internet back on and reconnect. It
will work for about 5 minutes, and then drop the connection
again. The same thing happens when I am using a wired connection.
I will be using it, it will work for about 5 minutes, then it
will drop the connection, then I will reset it and reconnect it
and it will work for about 5 minutes and then drop the connection
again. 3. When I try to send or receive mail with keymail, it
will give me error 10060. Putting the Apex in deep sleep mode and
then unplugging the ac adapter and then removing the battery for
20 or more minutes makes keymail send and receive once and then
to make it work again, I have to put the Apex in deep sleep mode
again, remove the battery and unplug the ac adapter for 20
minutes to get keymail to send and receive once again. All these
problems started at the same time and I have not changed any
settings on my Apex, my network, my gmail account or anywhere
else. What else can I try to get things back to normal? Thank
you.
