Hi,
A synthesizer is, in this case, a piece of software or hardware which
receives info from screen reader as to what to say. The Remote synth
capability can be used properly on mPowers and Classics under a variety of
screen readers.
As a side note: many people confuse screen readers with speech synthesizers.
Perhaps I should explain how a screen reader works at another time.
Cheers,
Joseph

What does synthesizer for screen reader mean? What does it do?
What screen readers can be used with it?

Hi,
Remote synthesizer allows a BrailleNote to act as a synthesizer for a screen
reader, whereas Braille Terminal allows BrailleNote to be used as a braille
display with screen readers. You cannot run both at once.
Cheers,
Joseph

How do you get the driver for braillein? What leaed do you use to connect
your computg to BrailleNote? What do you use? Terminal for screenheader,
remote symphasizer? Can I do it with JAWS 13?
Please, a detailed run through would be good.
Thanks!
