Hi,
Mayson told me (on KeyChat) that stability improvements can be observed
thanks to more smooth running of KeySoft.
As for stuck bootloader, we'll see, as this error can only be fixed by
deeper probing by HW.
Cheers,
Joseph

Subject: [Braillenote] Keysoft 9.2.1 Upgrade

Hello. I am posting this inquiry to the list primarily for Humanware staff,
but anyone can feel free to state their opinion on this subject.
I am starting to wonder if it is wise for bn users to upgrade their
machines to keysoft 9.2.1. Several bn users have successfully upgraded
their machines to this version of keysoft, and everything has worked just
fine. However, I have read two emails on this list from two people whose
machines have locked up after installing the upgrade. Fortunately, I was
one of the lucky users who was able to upgrade successfully. This is only
my opinion, but I think that users running ks 9.2 should wait to upgrade
until this issue is addressed by humanware. The only thing this upgrade
does is supposedly prevent files on the flash disk from becoming corrupt as
easily. Hw also claims that it has stability improvements, but I have not
noticed any.
Josh
