Hi, While your BN is acting as the braille display, press the cursor routing button above the status cell (either far left or far right, provided that you've enabled status cells from VoiceOver/Braille page). I know for sure that: * 1: unread messages, such as Notification Center and VoiceOver (VO) messages *3: Speech muted/unmuted. Cheers, Joseph

For example, which dot is for the battery? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Joseph Lee" <[email protected] To: "'Ricardo Herrera'" <[email protected]>,"'Humanware list'" <[email protected] Date sent: Sun, 19 Aug 2012 11:36:49 -0700 Subject: RE: [Braillenote] Status cell on BrailleNote with iOS device Hi, I think you meant 4S... The status cell indicates various phone status. When a dot is up, it means that a particular setting is active, there are unread messages and so forth. The settings are unread messages, landscape or portrait orientation, speech muted, screen curtain on/off, battery is low and so forth. There is a dedicated iPhone list out there which talks about using iPhone from blindness perspective. It is called viphone, and a number of us are subscribed to that list as well. For future reference, I too have iPhone - in this case, iPhone 4S.
