I seen a few messages on this topic regarding sending in other devices to
have the batteries replaced. I wonder what the outcome would be if you had
to send a normal pda in for battery replacement?

Hi,
I've used them as well for some special equipment batteries and I was quite
happy. In fact, if I had the instructions, I wouldn't be at all afraid to do
it myself. But, why not just a simple battery compartment accessible by the
user. In fact, a company in Florida, I believe, made that available for BNS
users that wanted it and I don't mean FS. Other than the Elba, are there any
other PDAs on the market that the user has to send in the unit to have its
batteries replaced? I seriously doubt this with off-the-shelf PDAs.
