Candi,

Try going to the file menu in Activesync and choosing "get connected ...".
then, go to the utilities menu on the BrailleNote and click next on the PC.
You'll hear a strange noise on the PC, count to three quickly, and hit c on
the BrailleNote to connect.

See how you go with that.

You would have needed to get Activesync going properly to use KeySync
anyway.
