Hi Paul, Yes, the BN LOSES ABOUT 5% of its charge per day even if not used. This is because all current drain comes from the battery, and it doesn't have another internal battery as does a computer. i understand that this drain can be higher if a CF card or microdrive is left in the unit when it is not being used.
