Of course, you can renew your service contract by phone.  I did that a few
months ago, for my Voice Note.

I received the Braille letter, you mentioned.

I called my dealer to renew, but since I wanted to use my American Express
card, I was told to call Humanware directly.

Unless, they have changed their phone menu, they have an option for extended
warranties.

So sorry to hear that your Braille Note is feeling under the weather.  Hope
you get it set to rights soon.
