Hi, Don. I do have a card reader. I suppose the only reason I would use
active sync is to sync my address book.
Since most mp3 files are larger than 1 mb, I would asume you'd want to turn
off the fifo buffer, but use of a card reader would be preferred over
active sync, I suppose. I really haven't tried it yet except for once when
I just connected, didn't set up a partnership and then just transferred a
small file to the unit quickly.
Right now, I am not using a flash card except to back up. I keep everything
on my flash disk.
