I'm thinking about purchasing a ScannaR, but I wanted to clarify some things
before doing so, and one of them concerns the transfer of saved files from the
ScannaR to the BrailleNote. After reading some information I received from the
general Pulse Data mailing list, I still wasn't clear whether ActiveSync had to
be used, or if the ScannaR could be directly connected to the BrailleNote. For
example, could the ScannaR be connected via infrared, serial, or parallel port
to the BrailleNote? If so, would the BrailleNote treat the other unit as
another drive when transerring files? Otherwise, would the ScannaR need to be
connected to a PC and the file transferred via ActiveSync, then have the
BrailleNote connected to the computer and have ActiveSync transfer the file to
the BrailleNote? Thanks a lot everyone.
