Hi Terri,

I know that when I first bought my BN in 2000, battery life was quoted at
about 21 hours, but this was before KEYWEB and the ability to stay connected
to the Internet. I know that whenever I use the modem, I can almost watch
the battery level drop. I would think that activities like word processing
and calculating do not drain the battery much, but I would think that Web
surfing, heavy Email use, and playing sound recordings would increase drain
tremendously, along with heavy accessing of peripherals such as CF cards and
microdrives. Also, using speech, or speech and Braille for access drains
more current than using Braille alone.
