Hi, Everyone. I came up with this idea last night.
What if not using the alarm feature in the braille note would decrease battery drain? I don't know how much less the battery would drain if the alarm function could be turned off, but I came up with the following idea.
Allow the user to turn this off if he or she is not going to use the alarms.
If, later, one tried setting up an alarm, a message could be displayed that this feature is not turned on and did the user want this feature turned on?
If not, no alarm can be set.
If so, the alarm feature would be turned back on.
This got me thinking about another idea along the same line. What if the alarm were only turned on for that day or time when an alarm needed to go off? The rest of the time, it would be turned off.
Guess that's what I get for lying awake late at night<grin>.
