Thank you Jonathan for your reply concerning the gps mark 2' UK version. I was
sorry to hear you've been unwell and hope you'll soon be fully restored to
health and able to deal with the data inaccuracies in the system. I fully
appreciate that such data has to be bought in, and, insofar as the UK is
concerned, will be based on the Ordenance Survey maps, but those maps must be
of really ancient vintage. I sincerely hope it'll soon be sorted out.
Meanwhile, here's another suggestion for a later upgrade. There ought to be a
"via" command so that the route may be designed to avoid what may be the
obvious motor route, where traffic-jams may be rife, and instead suggest a
route which may be less prone to these hazards. Anyway, one thing at a time.
Meanwhile, I shall be leaving the list for a little over a week, as my wife and
I are shortly flying off to Barbados to enjoy a few days of sunshine. If
you'll forgive a joke which is perhaps a little below the belt; we should get
there safely as I'm leaving my GPS here at home. Don Cooper.
