Hi Braille Note Users,
Well, I have had my unit for one and one-half years, and never, once, did I
get the evil message until yesterday. Last night, when I turned it on, it
asked me if I wanted to format the storage card, the other storage card,
then the flash disk? It suggested that the formatting was necessary so the
system could use it. The message was really hard to read on the Braille
display, but it was quite clear in the speech. Fortunately, I said "NO" to
all three questions.
I am wondering if this is a KeySoft 5 happening?
I also wonder if this happens more when speech is turned on? I ask because
since I am doing lots of GPS 2 use, I seem to have my speech turned on more
than not.
Lastly, what on earth is the purpose of this formatting? My PC never asks
me if I want to format a drive out of the clear blue!
