Actually, you have a couple options.  You could certainly get a card reader 
which is probably the best way to go if you can do it.  Also, you could 
purchase 
an adaptor which will allow a compactflash card to go into the pcmcia slot on 
the side of the bn.  You can have the ethernet card in the back slot and the 
compactflash card in the pcmcia slot at the same time with no problem. But, if 
the mp3 is large,activesync may choke, so getting a card reader for the pc 
would probably be the better way to go if you want to transfer large files.
