This isn't entirely true. I find that with the computer and Jaws, I can be
just as efficient as a sighted person. There are a lot of programs out there
that do work well with Jaws. Try putting sound forge on the braille note for
example. The braille note is a really good notetaker, and if my computer
goes or crashes I wouldn't want to be without the braille note. Because I
know I could get nearly all my schoolwork done using it. But the braille
note cannot, at this point, replace my desktop pc.
Also, when will the new multilingual come out? I'm taking a 300 level
Spanish course and it would be very helpful. And I'm pretty sure that BVS
won't buy me a laptop.
