TheBNipconfig.exe program programs the BrailleNote with the PC and the network. If you want to use a network card to connect your BN to your PC or medem which is faster than 56K for faster web browsing and email and/or synchronization functions, you run this program when your PC and BN are connected via ActiveSync. It takes the network settings of your PC (IP address for the PC, the WINS server and DHCP server if they are available, and an IP address for a gateway to the Internet if one exists), and programs those settings into the BN.
