Hi all,

Following the many people who have complained about their gps experiences I
would like to bring some positive news.

yesterday I used my version 2 of gps for the first time while on a trip by
bus. I was taking a route I have done many times and allowed gps to read me
the information as we went along.

It is really cool to have the intersections come up and know more about the
area as I rode the bus. I was even able to know when I would be approaching
my stop so not to be left off at the wrong one.

I did notice that the intersections broadcast on the way to my destination
were not quite synchronized however I think that was due to not having the
repeat mode set to automatic. I have more reading in the manual to do but I
especially like the ability to move around without the need to record a
specific route.

This is a good tool and we need to use it as such with the information
presented in the manual concerning its use in conjunction with all other
travel skills, including asking for directions or confirmation of our
position when needed.

Thanks for the update pdi.

John Farina
