Thank you John for your help. And I'm correct by assuming that I cannot edit poi but I can edit waypoints?

Hi Kathleen.
The difference between waypoints and points of interest, is that waypoints are part of a specific route. You can only access any given waypoint in one route, unless you manually add it to another. Points of interest on the other hand can be accessed from any route. Also, waypoints go in sequential order in a route, so as you travel along it, you move from waypoint 1, to waypoint 2, and so on. Waypoints help you follow a predetermined path which is why they are known as bread crumbs. . Points of interest on the other hand are not sequential and have no real order, except the distance they are away from you. For example, in the points of interest list, the closest one may be 235 feet to your left, and the next closest 582 feet straight ahead. Following points of interest will most likely lead you in circles. .
