Hi, In these days of high risk, I am very wary of unsolicited E-Mail and, therefore, wonder whether what follows is 'real' or bogus. Has anyone else received this, please and is certain of its validity?
Quoted mail starts: Dear Valued Pulse Data HumanWare Customer, As of January 1, 2004 California Senate Bill 186 requires companies to comply with a new email anti-spam law. Bill 186 states all email coming out-of and going in-to California be sent by permission of the recipient only. That means we at Pulse Data HumanWare, with headquarters in California, must have your permission in order to send any information to you via email. This includes promotions, hardware/software updates, news, new product information, affiliate discounts, workshop and conference information in your area, and more. TO RECEIVE ANY EMAIL FROM PDH STARTING 01/01/2004, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. Simply hit REPLY and SEND and you agree to be kept on our email list for future correspondence. If you do not reply PDH will not send you any emails after 01/01/2004. Questions? Contact Paul Chae at 1 800 722 3393 x 228, [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
