There has been a problem with the speech on the braille note and, I presume, the voice note, that has been around as long as I have been using pulsedata products, and that goes back to the keynote companion days. It is the refusal of the speech to read monetary amounts correctly.
For example, though the following 3 lines read the same, they are not at all the same. $1 million. $1 billion. $1 trillion. When I read these three lines they all read 1 dollars, but they are million, billion, and trillion respectively. Many of the suggestions for new enhancements would be nice to have, but I think this is more than an enhancement, this is a bug and should be fixed immediately. However, if it cannot be fixed, then it should be documented prominently in the manual. I looked, but didn't see any note of it anywhere. Thanks, Bob ------ I asked God for strength, that I might achieve I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey I asked for health, that I might do greater things I was given infirmity, that I might do better things I asked for riches, that I might be happy I was given poverty, that I might be wise I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life I was given life that I might enjoy all things I got nothing that I asked for--but everything I had hoped for Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed. ATTRIBUTION: Author unknown.
