Thanks for your help.  I know what it is to have a long day.  Actually, John, I 
didn't buy your system with the braille display.  Even if I had, how would I 
had known what those symbols meant?  I read primarily in voice, because this is 
not a system to be used at work.  It's for me to get things offline and, curl 
up and read them, or have a cup of coffee before work and read email or a part 
of a story.
I actually spend hours enjoying my books with Braille Note.  My kitty, 
(Kitcat), doesn't seem to mind. In any case, my system didn't speak when I gave 
it a command.  Perhaps I just don't know enough yet.
