Hi Betsy,

The kind of card reader that you buy depends whether you are trying to read the larger PCMCIA type II cards that fit in the right side of the BrailleNote or the much smaller compact flash cards which fit in the back of the BrailleNote. The compact flash card readers for the smaller cards that fit in the back are much cheaper and are readily available at computer stores. The PCMCIA card readers for reading the larger cards are a bit harder to find and are more expensive. Several of us have bought this reader for the larger PCMCIA cards from a company in California. If this is what you want, let me know and I will look up the information for you.

Aloha listers,
I want to purchase a card reader. Someone told me that there is a place in Las Angeles that many folks have used. Can someone send me the contact info and perhaps a description of the item that I need to work with my BrailleNote? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
Betsy
