Thanks, Jonathan. Do you think I should switch to the network log on? I do
have a peer to peer set up with my wife's computer so I can get to her D
drive and that works fine. Should I switch to the network log on setting
and if so, how?
Also, would it screw things up with ourpeer to peer that we have set up now?
Thanks.
It's probably not worth the trouble. I don't mind hitting tab twice, but it
would be kind of nice if I could just press enter and come up.

Hi paul. OK it sounds like you are using the Windows Family Log-on, rather
than the network logon which would in fact allow you to just press ENTER
without doing any tabbing.
Also, the only time you are prompted to install the Dot Net framework is
if our installation programme needs to go onto the Internet and get it. In
the case of the 5.0 CD, the older version of the Dot Net Framework was on
that CD, so it just went ahead an installed itself. I don't actually know
why, after that installation, you were able to boot without a log-in
prompt coming up.
