Hi

I'm new to the list, so please do forgive me if I'm re-visiting old problems
and questions, but I could really do with some help if possible.

I've had my Braillenote for a couple of weeks now and think it is a really
wonderful product. Until I received my Braillenote, I'd been using a PC. and
a Braille and Speak for notetaking, but as I have started a new job I really
needed to be accurate in my note-taking and production of documents, and so I
managed to persuade our Access to Work team (that is the people who can provide
specialist equipment for employment) that I needed a Braille display. I had
viewed other notetakers on the market, but preferred the Braillenote, and so my
Access to Work consultant kindly agreed that I should have a Braillenote.

Part of my work involves extensive use of the Internet. Unfortunately, I am
finding that whenever I try to enter a secure site in order to place an order
for items, the Braillenote will not allow me to do this. It often states it
has downloaded 100 percent of a page, but then appears to continue trying to
download. If I stop the download at that point, I am returned to a blank field
or the address bar.

My first question therefore is, has anyone managed to order products on the
Internet using the Braillenote? If so, would you please let me know how this
was achieved.

I have just recently purchased a Cannon Laserjet printer, and I was wondering
if this would be directly compatible with the Braillenote, or if I would have
to send all my files to my PC. and then to the Laser printer for printing.

Any help you can give on the above would be very very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Best wishes

Donna Slater
