That's interesting.  According to the manual, as I read it anyway, if the alarm 
goes off while the bn is off, you should be able to just pres the letter c to 
stop it.  
The backspace enter command works when the bn is on. 

So, maybe I'm reading the manual incorrectly, or possibly it is not correct, 
don't know which.  

I guess I'll have to do some playing with it.  Anyway, glad you got it turned 
off as that could be rather annoying.
