Hi John,

The upgrade to keysoft 5 does not in itself alter the prompts for
attachments, but what I have noticed is that one gets that prompt: "detach
in which folder?" when the attachment is not in one of the standard bn
formats readable in words, like an html, image or powerpoint file someone
might have unthinkingly forwarded to you.

You would then also not be able to read image files, should you choose to
detach it to a folder and it might corrupt your attachments folder, due to
its size. It might help, at the said prompt, to press space with i to
establish the file extention, although I'm not sure that all image
extentions are recognised by the bn.

Regards

Riana

Subject: [Braillenote] Problem Accessing Email Attachments

Hail, all ...

I've recently upgraded to Keysoft Version 5. Previously, when pressing
Enter to access an email attachment, I was presented with the question,
"detach or read?". Now I read "detach in which folder?". Firstly, this
removes the option of straightforwardly reading the attachment in situ; but,
secondly, when I do detach the attachment into another folder - or, rather,
when I direct BrailleNote to do that, the attachment isn't there when I go
to that folder to read it! Can anyone help, please?

'Bye for now,
John Goddard.
