I believe Nokia has more online manuals for its cell phones than anyone else.
The thing which disappoints me about cell phones is the trend is to make them smaller and smaller. This will cause more problems for many people because the keyboards will have keys which are extremely close together. Another disappointing thing about cell phones is that you can't use many of the features on the cell phone because sight is required to program numbers into the phone, change its ringing tones, create one-touch dialing etc etc. I wish PDI would do two things so the BN could be used to access the phone's menus using Blutetooth: (1) Make the BN so it is capable of adding the software suite which comes with Bluetooth capable phones and (2) Add a USB port so the BN could be connected to an external Bluetooth connector. Many people have told me Bluetooth is a more reliable means of transferring data than infrared and the Bluetooth connector costs about $49.95. If the BN was able to handle Bluetooth, then a blind person could buy a blue-tooth capable cell phone, like the Nokia 3600, buy the external Bluetooth connector and be able to access all the menus on the cell phone at a cheaper price than the Nokia Communicator or the MobileAccess software. As it is presently, if a blind person wants to use Bluetooth to access its menus, then a PC and a screen reader like WindowEyes or JAWS must be used. The BN can only be used as a braille display or synthesizer. So what about it, PDI? Could the BN eventually be Bluetooth capable? Terri, Amateur radio call sign KF6CA.
