I had this problem and it was because on the one braille note I had no planner files, it was upgraded just about Thanksgiving and I have been using the 32 cell at work so I never got around to moving the planner files back to it.
Here is how I solved the problem. I first deleted all files in the planner don't delete your 2004 or any that you may have if you do have them. Secondly I created a 2004 file by making an appointment for something, then I did the install again and it worked.
